SBCA Annual Beach BBQ & Food Drive
When: Monday, April 20, 2009 at 6:30
Where: Lion’s Club, 9300 W. Gulf Blvd. Treasure Island
What: BBQ on the Beach
Please Bring: At this years’ event we will be collecting donations of nonperishable,
non-expired food items for the St. Petersburg Free Clinic Food
Bank. This is a time of need for many families. We would like to make a BIG
donation on behalf of the SBCA. Thank you in advance for your generosity.

Beach Clean Up
Saturday April 11, 2009, 9:00 am & Saturday May 9, 2009
South Enders Meet at Sunset Beach Pavilion
North Enders meet at Katiki
The 2nd Saturday of each month is beach clean-up. Litter removal
from our beach, streets & parking areas is crucial. Beer bottles,
cans & other litter, in our dunes, stops the spread of dune
plants. Plastic bags, six pack holders, balloons & fishing line
filament are deadly for our sea turtles and birds. Litter can blow
onto the beach and into the water. Join us the 2nd Saturday of
each month at 9 am. For north Sunset Beach litter removal meet
at Katiki; for south Sunset Beach meet at the Pavilion. Many of
our seasonal residents are away for a while so we are short on
volunteers. We need your help!
